I have been a Scout for 12 years! I serve as an adult volunteer at the Sea Scout Group “Ilha do Mel” 85/PR, in the coastal city of Paranaguá, where I was born and raised. Throughout this journey, I have developed skills such as leadership, teamwork, and collective responsibility.
I am currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Environment and Development at the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR), researching the role of urban forests in combating climate change and the influence of urban planning in making our cities more resilient.
Among the projects I have been involved in within Scouts of Brazil, I highlight the National Scout Community Action Campaign (MutCom), which in the edition I coordinated (2019) benefited more than 260,000 people and, to this day, remains the largest edition in the history of Scouts of Brazil in terms of participants. In addition, I designed and coordinated the 1st National Leadership Training, inspired by my experience at the Interamerican Leadership Training.
I also represented Scouts of Brazil at the National Youth Council (CONJUVE) of the Federal Government, joining the Education Commission and the Diversity and Inclusion Working Group. Within the Council, we worked on monitoring and evaluating public youth policies in Brazil. I also collaborated on initiatives to promote and disseminate the Youth Statute, having recently led the organization of a Federal Government event in Curitiba (PR).
My international involvement includes participation in the National International Relations Team of Scouts of Brazil, the Interamerican Leadership Training, and volunteer service at the Kandersteg International Scout Centre in Switzerland.
I believe that all the experience I have built so far can be transformed into work and dedication to Scouting. My background, combined with my personal profile and interpersonal skills, can significantly contribute to a representative and engaged role in the Interamerican Scout Committee over the next triennium.
